Easter entry

Not much time but found this in my folder and wanted to put it in here. I'll write up some entries in wordpad and copy them into here tomorrow. I've got 5 minutes left before it kicks me off. Darn parental controls. I've had a great day and you'll hear all about it tomorrow. Til then.......

Happy Easter, y'all! I can't actually put this in my Journal til noon but, I can sure as hell type it up, now can't I? It so doesn't feel like Easter. I understand the religious significance of it, obviously, but I've never read the story in the Bible. I intend to do so today. I didn't go to church this morning (it's 10am). I found my basket within minutes and found my brother's as well before he did. hehehe ^_^ I guess I'm gonna go get dressed and play tennis with my brother and our new rackets and no net. (We live in a complex with a tennis court and they haven't put the net up yet.) Apparently, I type way too fast. So time to go cool my fingers off from this rapid-speed typing.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

:) Love ya!

15 years.... 10 years.... 5 years.... etc.

15 Years Ago, I:
1. was about a month old
2. couldn't talk
3. couldn't walk
4. slept through the vaccum cleaner
5. was being woken up to eat

10 Years Ago, I:
1. was in kindergarten and I loved it
2. thought my parents could do no wrong
3. was best friends with Summer L
4. thought I'd never move
5. loved my Gumpy (who could also do no wrong)

5 Years Ago, I:
1. moved (my second move, but first school change)
2. met Lindsay
3. loved school (Mrs. Otto helped)
4. knew my parents wouldn't last forever
5. was best friends with Tori

3 Years Ago, I:
1. was twelve and in the sixth grade
2. went to NYC
3. didn't cry when 9/11 happened
4. still held onto that shred of hope that my parents would get back together

1 Year Ago, I:
1. was still a lowly middle-schooler
2. slept at Liz's house all the time
3. was helping Liz raise her grades
4. thought Lindz was going down the wrong path

4 months ago, I:
1. was still deciding if I should move or not
2. realized I wasn't as over Jon as I thought
3. missed Liz (still do)
4. was acing all my courses
5. thought Smokey would live forever.

Yesterday, I:
1. wished it was Saturday
2. actually did my homework
3. saw The Breakfast Club for the first time
4. taped Sixteen Candles
5. decided that I'm not dating anyone until at least my sophmore year (aka til this fall) if not until my sweet sixteen

Today, I:
1. forgot to wear a dress :(
2. read a short story out of my English teacher's book
3. fell in love with Shakespeare (again)
4. sat on the big rock that you see Lindz on (see bottom of screen)
5. wore my hair in pigtails all day

Tomorrow, I:
1. have youth group (if I can find out how to get there)
2. will begin to read Romeo and Juliet
3. might actually do something on time
4. am wearing my "hippie" clothes (I'll get a picture)
5. hope Rach ain't gonna kill me :)

The pile of snow on the side of it is gone though. In fact, most of the snow is gone! And tomorrow should be 60 degrees Fahrenheit (that's about 15 degrees Celsius and I did that in my head)! YAY! Must go either drag out bike or running clothes. It's a beautiful day!

Love always,
Vickey

So what if it's late?

Weekend Assignment #52: Congratulations! Hollywood is making a movie of your life, and you get to choose any actor you want to play you -- yes, even if they're dead (the things they can do with special effects!) Who do you choose and why?

Extra credit: Name the musician/band who will play the theme song to the movie.

Okay, yes, I understand that these are supposed to be done over the weekend (hence the name) but I didn't and I want to do this one. Who would play me in the movie of my life? I hear tell that one of my choices is quite popular in this assignment but, Sandra Bullock. She's not stunningly beautiful in the drop-dead-gorgeous, follow-her-miles-out-of-your-way type but she is pretty in a natural sense. Which I'd far rather be. There's three types of beauty: classic beauty, gorgeous beauty, and inner beauty. (Taken from some book that I can't remember the name of.) I'd rather have inner beauty because it stays forever and makes even the most hideous being into a creature nearing perfection. But classic beauty is definitely a plus. The only time guys stop and stare at me is when I'm wearing something revealing for once (aka my miniskirt). Gorgeous beauty is not something I aspire to. Sandra Bullock has classic beauty in my mind.

If she's unavailable, my second choice is Julia Roberts. She, too, has classic beauty. She's an amazing actress and always chooses good films to act in. At least, all the ones I've seen. Pretty Woman, Mona Lisa Smile, Erin Brokavich, Ocean's Eleven, America's Sweethearts, Runaway Bride, Notting Hill, Stepmom, My Best Friend's Wedding, Something to Talk About, I Love Trouble, Hook, and others that I've never seen.

Extra credit: I'd have Jewel do my theme song. But like her older stuff. I like her Pieces of You album better than her 0304 album. (But 0304 is still good in it's own way.) If she can't digress, Katrina Elam or Anna Dagmar (www.AnnaDagmar.com).

Off to fetch cinnamon rolls. Want one?

Love always,
Vickey

Saturday Six

Saturday Six....

1. Do you believe that Terri Schiavo should be allowed to die or that she should be kept alive? This is one case that while I have loosely followed it, I have not mentioned it in here. I do not have a strong enough opinion on this case to write about it. I know that someone would come back writing the opposite & I'd have no defense to that. Thus, I shall not answer.

2. Has the Schiavo case made you take any action towards creating a living will of your own? I have not however my mom has. She's creating a will that says that should anything happen to her, Samantha, Ray, Joey, and I must agree on what is to happen with her. And if we cannot agree, Lori (my aunt) has final say and her word is law.

3. Let's forget what we know -- or more likely, what we think we know -- about Schiavo's condition.  If you suffered a brain injury that would leave you in a non-responsive vegetative state (whether Schiavo is in this state or not) and your doctors said that there was so much brain damage that there would be no hope of recovery, would you want to be kept alive no matter what? I don't know.

4. Has anyone outside of your immediate family ever asked you to be their "personal representative" to make such a decision on their behalf if they ever suffer a severe injury?  Do you think you could really make the decision? I'm fifteen. Nobody asks me to do something that important.

5. Do you have a special outfit ready for Easter Sunday?  Does your family have any special Easter traditions? No and yes. We search for our baskets, devour our candy, and chill for the day. We have ham, mashed potatoes, corn, peas, gravy, "special" bisquits, and some other stuff for dinner.

6. What room of your house is the absolute messiest?  Would you ever let a house guest see it? Ummm the basement. Yes. All the time. It's supposed to be a hang out for my friends and I but it's creepy b/c it's cold and clammy.

That was the Saturday Six. Play along at Patrick's Place.

2. If you could live during any period in history when would you pick? Could I come back? If so, I'd pick the Victorian Era. And not just because it shares my name hehe ^_^

7. What is your favorite movie line? Not exactly a line but.....Prince Humperdinck: First things first, to the death.
Westley
: No. To the pain.
Prince Humperdinck
: I don't think I'm quite familiar with that phrase.
Westley
: I'll explain and I'll use small words so that you'll be sure to understand, you warthog faced buffoon.
Prince Humperdinck
: That may be the first time in my life a man has dared insult me.
Westley
: It won't be the last. To the pain means the first thing you will lose will be your feet below the ankles. Then your hands at the wrists. Next your nose.
Prince Humperdinck
: And then my tongue I suppose, I killed you too quickly the last time. A mistake I don't mean to duplicate tonight.
Westley
: I wasn't finished. The next thing you will lose will be your left eye followed by your right.
Prince Humperdinck
: And then my ears, I understand let's get on with it.
Westley
: WRONG. Your ears you keep and I'll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, "Dear God! What is that thing," will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.
Prince Humperdinck
: I think your bluffing.
Westley
: It's possible, Pig, I might be bluffing. It's conceivable, you miserable, vomitous mass, that I'm only lying here because I lack the strength to stand. But, then again... perhaps I have the strength after all.
[slowly rises and points sword directly at the prince]
Westley
: DROP... YOUR... SWORD!
[mouth hanging open, drops sword to floor

Getting caught up

3/17

I have a new solo. So I have three that I'm working; Take Me to the World (which I bombed in class and and preforming this weekend for mom), On My Own (for Mother's Day), and Alma del Core (for SoloFest/voice). I will be practicing each song at least five minutes every night. And if I am in the middle of a run through, I'll finish it and be done.

Did I tell you all about my boyfriend? Well, yesterday was our one-month anniversary. His name, you ask? He is my heart, my love, my King. The Prince of Peace, Song of God, the Way, the Truth, the Light, Son of Man. He is my Savior. I am dating God or Christ or whatever you will call Him. On February 16, 2005, Dillion gave a lesson and i it said that you're not really ready for a boyfriend until after high school because he would take your attention away from God. Well, I wanted a boyfriend so I asked God out. He agreed. So for one month and one day, I've been dating God. But I'm thinking that all the connections are weird. I mean, God is my Heavenly Father, Christ my brother. How can I date Him? I think I'm just going to stop "dating" him and just try to be a better Christian and know He is there to support me through it all. Yet, I feel bad about thinking that way because, I mean, how do you "dump" God?

3/23

Tomorrow is the big United Way breakfast. Zero practice between now and then. I have a C range grade in "most" of my classes aka English and Science. I've always had A or B range and now Dad's making a huge deal of two C's. ENglish is because of my Things Fall Apart packet (60%) (and now research paper which is a 68% but I found an error and it should be a 77%). Science is because of two homeworks I didn't do. Minor homeworks but because of lack of assignments, their importance raised. I want to raise my grades. I want to stay in English Honors and get into Science Honors. I want to get an acedemic scholarship. I want to get into a good (not community) college. But a couple C's freshman year won't kill me. But I better raise my grades next term. Go out with a bang. I don't want to get grounded or further restricted but it may be too late for this term. :( Anybody got tips on raising my grades?

3/24

United Way was this morning. It went fine. My vowels were wide and my gestures off at times but it was fun and great job overall.

I kinda lied to my mom. :[ She asked if I was back to liking Jake and I said no. Last night, I was talking to him and I asked if he still liked me and he said yes and how obvious was it. I told him he's an open book. Which made him nervous. He asked if I liked him. I said to Lindz, "F***, f***, f***." She asked what and I told her the situation and asked what to say. I told him "Yes but please don't ask me out because I don't know if I want a boyfriend right now."

And now I am caught up. Lindz and I are sleeping here. Write more soon. Much love to all.

Love always,
Vickey

Meine Schwester

I miss... my big sister. I haven't told y'all bout her. But I miss her so much right now. Her name is Julia and she was an exchange student that lived with me for a year (98-99). We were sisters. Not blood-sisters but sisters in all ways that mattered. I haven't seen her since I was in third grade. I haven't talked to her on the phone either. I've e-mailed with her. But not recently. I was going through Lindsay's phone and it has the time zone conversions. One of them is Paris and Berlin. Berlin is in Germany. My sister is German. She's the reason I take German. I wanted to be able to speak to her without Dad knowing what I was saying. I miss my sister.

Lindsay is sleeping over tonight. We're leaving here soon, I think. Oh, the Anna Dagmar show last night. I didn't go. I couldn't because I was here (at Lindsay's) and her mom wouldn't drive. But instead, I sat on the couch and watch Moulin Rouge (by myself b/c I was here alone & Lindz won't watch it with me) and cried. It was fun. Okay, byebye time. I'll write more soon, I hope. But I miss my sister!

Love always,
Vickey

fill in the blanks (from Dawn)

I AM: procrastinating.
I WANT: to go to the Anna Dagmar show tonight.
I HAVE: a feeling that I knew her in a past life.

I WISH: I knew what to do.

I HATE: the thoughts some conversations have brought up recently.

I MISS: Liz.

I FEAR:
dying without knowing true love.
I HEAR: What If I Told You by Anita Cochran
I WONDER:
what will happen next.

I LOVE:  a little poetry after supper. hehe ^_^

I ALWAYS: love a good tear-jerker movie.

I AM NOT:
as bitchy as some think.
I AM NOT ALWAYS: a "good girl".
I NEED: some good luck, a best friend, a rough dog, a mountain, some new clothes, a tv, a cause, a trip to nirvana, a thrill of applause, a wet kiss, to confess, a vision, religion, the right to be silent, then to be heard, a week on an island, a diet that works, a dose of the bible, another course in survival, just talk about the essentials, to make me feel alive ~Meredith Brooks "I Need"

I SHOULD: get off my arse and do something.

Time to go to Lindsay's. I'll update from there (and figure out my plans for my day off)!

Forever,
Me

1. You know company is coming:  do you panic and immediately begin cleaning house or do you sit back and relax because your place is already clean?
Well, it should be relax but, more likely it's this: "Who is it? Oh, okay. Don't have to clean." or "Who is it? Oh, crap! *whisks off to clean*"

2. Which was a bigger surprise for you:
a) Robert Blake was acquitted ~didn't follow
b) Martha Stewart did jail time ~see above
c) Scott Peterson was sentenced to death ~not really a shock
d) The Michael Jackson trial began at all ~guess it was

3. What was in the last package you received in the mail? Probably Sarah Hudson CD

4. What commercial annoys you the most at the moment? I don't know.

5. What charity was the last one to call you to solicit a donation?  Did you give them money?  Why or why not? They don't ask me.

6. What common household product do you hate to run out of the most? Lights. I hate flourescent lighting. Opps! Misread this. I hate to run lights most. I hate to run out of TP and contact solution most!

Two old entries

3/10

Today is my Mommy’s birthday. I won’t let you know how old she is because it’s not polite. She turned eighteen the year I was born. Mom is a Pisces as well. Always fun. LOL

3/11

I’ve had Smokey my whole life. She was my baby. We didn’t know the exact day she was born but we knew she was about my age so we celebrated her birthday on mine. We had stockings for our cats (and Duchess). They’d get catnip toys and such. And until Christmas morning we kept them in the freezer so they couldn’t smell it. And they went nuts. Smokey and Chya (or Chyna) fought. They would fight all the time. Smokey, the oldest and only female, versus Chya the youngest male. Smokey became our “dog” after Duchess was put down. Duchess was the only one on the loveseat for her year with us. The day she was put down, Smokey took over the loveseat. And Dad got mad. Because we had a bucket of Beanie Babies. And my kitty would drag them everywhere. If she came up to you with one in her mouth, you had to say, “Good girl, thank you, good girl” while petting her head. Then she’d drop it and you could go back to whatever.

Please excuse the coding if it's still there. The music was temporarily taken out but will be but back in soon. Or maybe a different song. Time to go pack for Lindsay's. Will update later.

Love always,

Vickey

Okay, tonight, I’m typing all of these up. [Didn’t happen.] My English paper is done and is decent. I probably won’t get an A but I should get a B. I just want to get a grade that’ll let me stay in honors. That’s a B average or above. A- + C+ =B So far, so decent. I’ve got a billion school related things to do though. My solo is supposed to be preformed tomorrow but won’t be until Friday at the earliest. Instead, voice tomorrow is a study hall for me. The all-county people are practicing and Stephanie is doing her self-assessment. Everyone else (myself included) has study hall. My German vocabulary test is Friday, too. Along with my math and science tests. If I do perform my solo on Friday, that’s four tests in a row. And my current events is due tomorrow. My debate’s eighth period today (when my paper is due) and is not done. I intend on making it up from my paper. Shan’t be good but, it’ll be decent. [It wasn’t.] I hope. Despite so many tests, quizzes, and assessments, I’m feeling fine. I can do this. Oh, and my spiral needs to be filled in for global because she’s collecting it soon. [Still needs to be.] Easy though. Sounds like a lot but, I’m going to do everything I must to prepare and shower and watch LOST. The whole episode. For the first time ever.  Ugh. I have a double period of science right now. One period done, one to go. Gong to call Jack. Eh, well. Jack didn’t answer her cell. Yes, Jack is a her and no, is not transgender that I know of. Ugh. Double science sucks. Thank goodness it’s only once a week. And now, I’ve got hiccups. And no sugar with which to cure them. How do you cure your hiccups? A teaspoon of sugar does it for me. Why do hiccups happen anyhow? Oh, and I’m wearing my Tink PJ’s today (and my Aero hoodie) in school. Hehe ^_^ At the middle school, you’re not allowed to. Here it’s far more loose. Only a few minutes left until lunch. I’m starved. I wonder what rat poison they’ll serve up today.

Love always,
Vickey
P.S. I won't be on until tomorrow. I'm fine though. Go visit my newest Journal if you'd like. My friend set it up. I did not do anything but the entry. *LOVE*

Can you hear it?

OMG! It's working! If you're reading an alert, stop. Come to my journal page. The main page. Not the entry page. OMG! It's working! The song you are currently hearing is called "Elephant Love Medley" and it is from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. I have figured out what my problem was. I was uploading it from the wrong place or in the wrong way. I got it now though! OMG! It's working! Yay! Awesome!

Wait. Maybe it's not. Can you hear it? Lindsay can't. Can you? It might take a minute to load. But, I can hear it. You should be able to. Can ya? I hope so. I love that music. OH, LIZ!? Lizzi, come dance the cha-cha with me! And sing this song with me. Please? And frolic? And mess with Mike's head? Please? Puh-lease? I miss you! Ahhhh! *running in circles*

Time to go crazy.

I. Am. Screwed. F*cked. Obsolete. Dead. Over. I’m dead. Major English paper due tomorrow and guess what? It ain’t done. It ain’t even half done. I’m scrooed. As in majorly screwed. I’m FUCKIN’ DEAD! My father needs to fuck off and die. I’m typing this in all white on white so that no one can read it. Haha. I’m so clever, aren’t I? Ugh. I’m going to eat and then I’ll continue/do my paper. DAMN HIM!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

When I’m pissed, I eat. It’s unhealthy, I know but it’s one thing that I do. Seriously, I’m so pissed right now and guess what? I’m making my dinner and I’m eating a piece of pizza. I’m amazed that I haven’t messed up my spelling once yet in this document. No big red or green lines. Yay! *knocks on wood* so yea, I’m a dork and you can deal with it. I’m still Pissed off but typing and eating help. But I really shouldn’t have eaten pizza just because I was pissed.  And I wonder why I hate my stomach. I mean, I’m relatively skinny and I’m definitely small but there are still things that I don’t like about my body. My stomach being one of them. <o:p></o:p>

He needs to fucking die. He’s arguing about Mom’s smoking habits with me. It’s ridiculous.

Quick, before I'm dead!

Have little time to write but, will say this: pictures tomorrow. Promise. Lindz is taking some tonight if I can find the camera. Also, solo is tomorrow between 7:30 and 8:15am EST. For sure. There's only like seven of us left so seven can be done in that time including warm-ups and maybe even sight-reading. *gasp* Time to go do my homework. Crap! I have to read two chapters for tomorrow! Ahhhhh! Gotta run! (Oh, but before I do, I save .20 a day because my lunch costs $1.80 and Dad gives me $2. So it's not my money that I'm saving. hehe ^_^ And the beans and rice and leaves is the school's idea of a side dish. It literally was kidney beans, spicy rice, and green leaves that I hope they didn't get off the trees.) Oh, we have ground! There's a front lawn! Yay! Now, time to go!

Love always,
Vickey

One I wrote today! *gasp*

Oh my gosh. Anyone want to snap into parent mood? Or digress to rebellious teenager? Take your pick because my hair is now about six or seven inches shorter. Lindz cut it. About three incehse more than I wanted is gone. But it looks good and is getting rave reviews. Of course, all the girls I know are complimenting it and none of the guys. I want some guys to flirt with me. I need to feel attractive with this hair. I feel so different. Lindz is taking some pictures soon so I can post 'em. It's not as easy to put my hair up but I can do it. Ow. I think I got mascara in my eye. Fun. It's so odd to run my hand through my hair and have it just stop. Definitly an odd feeling.

It's four pm and zero flirtage. Which sucks but, oh well. I'm sitting in the chiro's office bored out of my mind. But there's a cute guy sitting across from me which is entertaining. Being here with my grandmother is not. Nor is the fact that my chiro just changed again. Krapf, Alex, Krapf. Krapf said Kraf but I say it Crap. Yep, I'm mischeivious. Sue me. :o) So how's the rest of my day looking? After here, I'm going to Lindz's mom's but nobody'll be there. I'm home alone at Lindz's. lol So dinner is if I can find anything there. Homework, typing, and crap to happen at Lindz's. My day... my day was blah. No chairs in voice or choir. Ow. Floor. Hard. German was a waste of time. Math sucked. Test that should've been Friday is tomorrow. Oh, back up. Solo. Tomorrow or Wednesday between 7:30 and 8:15am EST. My teacher was out today so no one preformed. Oh, cute guy gone. Grandmother not. :o( lol Science stunk as well. Choir ow and talked to Rachel. Lunch was funny and more "I never..." and lots of drinking :-[ followed by Global w/o my homework done but enjoyable class. English sucked as always but not majorly. Studyhall was reading Hotel World (a british book) off my teacher's shelf for the third period. Came home and got online. Talked to Jake for about three minutes before coming here. Now am here. Will let you know what happens later! lol :o)

That's all I have time for. Plus, typing is hurting my arms for some reason. Oh well. More tomorrow, promise! Much love to all! :o)

Love always,
Vickey

Sunday, March 13, 2005

So what if it's Sunday?

1. Have you ever called 911 for an emergency? I called 911 when Karlie was sexually harassing Lindz. Does that count as an emergency? Oh, and I supposedly called when my dad was harassing my mom but I don't remember that.

2. Do you spend more or save more? I save $0.20 a day.

3. How many live plants do you have in your home now?  Do you give them enough attention? Zero and n/a.

4. What was the last thing you did to exercise?  How often do you exercise? Oh, dear. I think I did some jumping jacks last night but only a few. Not often enough.

5. Where do you compare with regard to your parents:  do you feel like an adult, or still like the "kid?"  If you feel like an adult, when did you first feel that way? I don't feel like answering this question. *hides*

6. Who is the last person you received a personal card or letter from that wasn't sent to mark a special occasion? Ummm.... Liz e-mailed me a couple days ago and Marisa was probably the last person to send me a letter.

And, FYI, no, English is NOT my favorite subject because I hate analyzing books. I love to read and write but I hate analyzing it and I hate deadlines. But keep your ears peeled between 7:30 and 8:15 EST tomorrow as you may just hear the sounds of my solo. I'm supposed to preform tomorrow. But it may end up being Tuesday.

Vickey

The pictures

My local pizza place-Mark's-I had to tweak this picture to take out the street number. It was an interesting experience.

Colleen and the clock. Had to tweak out the number of the road.

Starbucks-no tweaking

Murph and Lindz in Starbucks. Not a photo scavenger hunt but taken during the expedition.

My alley

Fire Department-tweaked to take out town name

Lindz's alley-her acting like she's on a bike and murph acting like he's in a car

This one was tweaked to include the writing.

The Strawberry Castle-a private residence. Again, tweaked to include writing

At Lindz's Dad's, Murph climbed into the tree. This is him in that tree. Labeled.

That's it for the pictures. Hope you enjoyed them!

The Story

3/7/05<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

I miss my sister already. I’ve only been gone for 17 hours. She refused to hug or kiss me before I left. Her theory was probably along the lines of, “If I don’t, she can’t go.” But Joey and Lindz could. hehe ^_^ so the weekend…<o:p></o:p>

Starbucks after school. Murph, Brian, Maggie, Colleen, and I played “mau”. Murph drove Lindz and I to her dad’s house but on the way we made fifty billion stops. We parked at the garage near the fire department. Ran back to “my alley” where I got hit by a car (story eventually). Run up to “Lindz’s alley”. Pause. Fire department. Church. Back to car. Bangz parking lot. Strawberry Castle. Snow bank! Murph climbs up the snow bank and Lindz joined him. *click* Murph scrambles down. A plea of “help” escaped past Lindsay’s partially frozen lips. Murph, gentleman that he is, clambered back up and wrapped his arms around her, lifting her off her feet. He proceeded to sink two feet, falling back in the snow with Lindz atop his legs. Hilarious, IMO. Murph wanted to know if they could pose in my pictures. Sure. “Can we pose topless?” “So long as I don’t see anything. And no fondling.” “What? Why not?” “My mom reads my blog.” “You said she’d be fine with anything.” “Well, my aunt reads it!” “So?” “Soooo my aunt Lori reads my blog! I’m not posting pictures of topless people.” “Fine.” We drove to Lindz’s dad’s house and stood, freezing in the driveway for a while, talking. Lindz’s dad drove us back to Dad’s. I packed and we hung out for a while. (Note: Murph had gone home.) Mom picked us up and the next two hours were spent driving. With the customary Krispy Kreme stop for hot doughnuts. By the time we got home, Pixie was asleep. Joey slept on the couch. Lindz and I slept upstairs. We woke up at 9-ish and got as ready as possible without going downstairs. Then, I ventured down… and got ambushed by Samantha. (BTW: Samantha=Pixie=Sami.) We went to Kidfest and my favorite kick-ass jeans got two holes torn in the knee. :o( Sami wanted me to carry her in so I did… until Mom and her had to leave. She had to be torn away from me crying. :’o( We had fun though. Did the store stuff. Walked in the door and *fwoop* Samantha on my leg. Well, not literally. Danced with her. Played with her and hung out Spaghetti for dinner. Lindz and I did the dishes. Then, Mom, Lindz, and I left. Went up to the mall. Looked at a necklace. Gorgeous (silver) religo-cross. The chain was too delicate. There was this collection called the ?Everlasting Love? collection with cameo type pictures of people and such on them like a picture of a man and a woman and such. One had a cat on it. I thought that was odd and Mom said, ?When the time comes that Smokey passes, wouldn?t a necklace like that comfort you?? ?Yeah, I guess so.? None of us realized that she?d pass so soon after that remark. As part of my birthday, I got a French manicure. Then, in my Aero hoodie, nails freshly done, and hair in a ponytail atop my head, we went into Hot Topic. Ha! You don?t go in Hot Topic looking like that. We got a couple things for Mom and I got the lip-gloss I?ve been snagging from Lindz for myself. It?s Barbie strawberry-lemonade. Smells delish. I love it. Then, we went into Claire?s. Which is covered in pink and preppy. With Lindz in her all black get-up and silver balls around her neck. It was priceless. We went back and played mau. Had a decent night. Went to bed, woke up around 10-ish. Came back to Dad?s. Yadda yadda yadda.

This is how I got the pictures for the last photo scavengar hunt. The pictures are in the next entry.

Two old, short ones

3/2/05<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

She doesn’t know it but by the time I type this up, we’ll already have dealt with it. I’m peeved at Lindz. Today is Wednesday and even thought I don’t like Tom that way anymore, I wanted to go to youth group. Dad’s working days so I have to watch Joey. To get to youth group I need a) Joey to either come or go to a friend’s house and b) a ride, typically from Lindz. Well, last night, I was on the phone with Lindz and I said I’d let her know around four if I was coming or not. “Okay. Well, I got to go. Talk to you tomorrow.” Fast forward to math class today. “So, if my brother doesn’t have too much homework, guess what you get to do?” “Huh?” “Pick me up for youth group.” “Umm… I’m going to Ali’s.” She made those plans after getting off the phone with me. I wanted to go. I think it could help me get my head on straight. Just one hour of a youth group lesson may be the key. But I’m going to be without. So either a weekend at Mom’s must do or I’ll have to wait another week. [Note: I did go to youth group that night.]

<o:p>

3/4/05<o:p></o:p>

Okay, okay. I know. I should’ve gone. Should be sitting in English, not tardy. Sheli, Rachel, and I are in tardy, skipping. 10 minutes left of “class”. I feel guilty but I’d rather be here than there. Four minutes left.<o:p></o:p>

Okay, y'all. I'm back and I'm slightly better emotionally. I'll write more in a few minutes!

Oh, no. They didn't.

Feeling: sad and acrimonious

My baby is buried in my grandmother's backyard. I do NOT want her there. I do not want her buried there. Heck, I want her cremated. How dare they decide where her body will spend eternity without MY input? She's MY baby, not theirs. She's always been my baby kitty. I want her cremated but I don't know where I want her ashes. I can't have them in my room because I'll cry everytime I look at them and I can't have that. I won't have them at my grandmother's because she's my kitty. I don't know where I'd put her ashes but I do not want her buried in BG's backyard. I do not want her in a cemetary because I will never visit it. At times like this, part of me wants to live in my old town and have her buried next to Duchess in the "back forty". Rainbow Bridge can't come soon enough. Oh, and today is my mom's birthday. But I doubt it'll be remembered for that now. It'll probably always be the day I found out about Smokey. I can't believe they didn't ask me.

Vickey

My baby.

My baby. My baby. My baby's gone. Smokey's gone. My kitty's gone. When I can think more, I'll write more. I just can't believe my baby is gone.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who  were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; They each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Smokey, I will miss you forever. You were my first pet and you'll remain in my heart forever and ever. I love you, baby. And I miss you. I hope you're safe, happy, and healthy. I'll see you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Love always,
Vickey

From last Tuesday

Feeling so out of it, so behing. Perhaps my English paper is making me like this. Or rather my lack of work on it. And my science homework that's not done. And my voice solo that's not memorized and must be preformed in just over a week. I'm just so out of it on so many levels. I'm going home after classes and immediatly doing my homework. Then, and only then, may I get online and type this up. After the other two loooooong entries. Must also do laundry and dishes but can do it all in FLY style. AKA get home, dishes unloaded & reloaded, start load of laundry, do 15 mins of hw, break for 15 mins, repeat as necessary and change "aptmts" as necessary to complete PODA.

That's all for today, folks. Look forward to more tomorrow. Time for LOST and American Idol. My first time watching either one.

Love always,

Birthday weekend~2/18/05-2/20/90

2/25/05

Still don’t feel like writing but will make myself before the memories fade. My weekend at Mom’s was mainly uneventful. David, my stepbrother, slept over and took my bed so I was on the couch. Samantha drew me a picture and kissed it twice. The kisses smudged the marker and stained her lips temporarily. I’ll snap a picture but I’m sure it won’t justify it (can anyone tell I like that I can use pictures?) Sunday was my birthday. Did not feel like it at all. Felt like any other day. At noon, we had Jell-O cake. Mom wrote “Happy Birthday 15th Vickey!” Read that again. Yes, that’s right. “Happy Birthday 15th Vickey!” as in what happened to the first 14 Vickey's? I got a couple things from my family down there. My sister tried to grab the candles. I only blew out 14. I was so close though! We left around 2:30 and began the drive up here. At 4:27pm, I got the traditional singing to by Mom and Joey. Before dropping us at Dad’s, Mom bought McDonald’s. When I got to Dad’s, I ate about ½ a McChicken and went to repack for the lock-in. Dad and I got into a fight and I wound up crying so I sang “On My Own” because it’s a sad song. I got packed and got to Lindsay’s. Colleen and Amanda were on the couch and Lindz was out picking up Ali. Murph hadn’t picked up Jake yet. 2 minutes after I got there, Lindz did. With Taylor. *Barf* Ha, actually, ha! His lovely ex (Lindz) and I pranked him. Told him I liked him and wanted to go out with him. He believed it. We’ll get to that in a bit though. When I got out of the bathroom, Lindz entered with a cookie cake and 15 sputtering candles. Obviously trick candles. But I blew at ‘em anyhow. A “happy birthday” balloon, a Harlequin romance novel (about a cowboy!), and 2 dark chocolate Dove bars were presented to me as well. Taylor helped me tie the balloon to my wrist. We all wound up in 2 cars (vs. the four we thought we’d need), the Astro and Murph’s. Colleen and I rode with Jake and Murph while everybody else piled into the Astro. Murph + car=seat belts MANDATORY! At one point, that idiot drove 80 in a 35 zone! Much fun, I must admit. We got to service a few minutes late (with the Astro far behind :[) and I realizedI had forgotten my permission slip. Borrowed Murph?s cell and tried to call Becky (Lindz?s mom) to see if she?d get it for me. No answer. Told Cristen my problem and she said not to worry, I?d be fine. Went back into service and Taylor sat next to me. *shudder* Becky (different one) shared her testimony and then (after the adults had left) we started the lock-in with a Paid In Full concert! Amazing! We watched a video about relavancy, heard Dill spiel (always fun), did a couple hours of karaoke, and did relay races. That was fun. Let's see, I ate baby food. Peas. Eww. Disgusting. Lindz ate baby food out of the trash. Colleen ate carrots or something. But not out of the trash. Murph scarfed 2 twinkies in 20 seconds. Ew. Some other disgusting things were eaten as well. We went upstairs and put in Willy Wonka. I fell asleep before they got to the factory. Heck, Charlie hadn't won the ticket yet! Woke up an hour later and went downstairs. Played CatchPhrase for a couple hours. Great fun. "A blanket with a hole cut in for your head." Poncho. "Dude." Where's my car? "Dude." Sweeeeet. "Bingo." Blahblahblah from me. Correct answer from Josh. "Exactly." Not just right, exactly right. Dorks! But amazing fun. After we went to Lindz's Dad's and then to her mom's house. Stayed there til noon. I was the only one who had slept until we got to Becky's. Played air hockey. Couches in living room. Lindz & Murph on one couch, Colleen, Jake, and I on the other (larger) couch. Colleen on one end, Jake on the other, me in the middle. Colleen fell asleep on me and Jake fell asleep next to me. Lindz slept on Murph who was sleeping. At noon, we left and dropped me off. I got home, cranky from lack of sleep and Dad said I had ONE hour. I had slept ONE HOUR in the past (aprx.) 36 hours. I needed sleep. More than an hour. He gave me four. We didn't go out for my birthday dinner. We stayed home and ordered pizza. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up 20 minutes later. Opened gifts without much enthusiasium. I got a gold cross necklace. Delicate. Gorgeous. Gold. I don't wear gold. Except my wedding band may be gold. He thought I was ungrateful because it was expensive. But you'd think that by now, he'd now that I wear silver. The charm bracelet I got a few years ago was gold. So were the two charms. I've never worn it. It was expensive and gorgeous but gold and the wrong style. Can I help it if gold makes me nervous? I feel like I'm going to lose it or break it and silver looks better, IMO. Okay, that's it for now.

Another quiz

Taken from Angel

You're beautiful... but why?

~*~*~*~ LOVING~*~*~*~ Your loving nature makes you wonderful to be around. You are the type of person that accepts people for who they are and they in return of your good heartedness, accept you right back. You are most likely a romantic at heart. With a sensitive soul and probably a broken heart from the past, you don't usually trust people. You have probably been hurt by someone you love or loved dearly which makes it hard to confide in others. Easy going and romantic, fun and lovable, you have a great personality. You are very well liked in the general world that you're in.

There was another but I can't view it for some reason. It apparently moved and it won't let me view the new page. Whatever. Time for tea.
